What customers say?

“ After a good 16 years, I was able to return to this place, which meant so much to me. I had a certain memory of it, and fortunately, it hasn't been tarnished. Let's start by saying that the place has always been famous for the quantity of platters served to diners. I don't know about it over the years, but I must say that the dishes we received were extremely satisfying, both in quality and quantity. Three of us had their "mix" of appetizers, consisting of cured meats, polenta (both without photos), bruschetta, and the meatball. Varied. Not overwhelming, but satisfying. With the first courses, there was plenty of choice, so we settled on the classic, yet familiar, dishes. Although a couple of the dishes would have been worth a try. I won't even comment on the tagliata. The quality, quantity, and cooking were impeccable. In short, a must-visit, outside the town center, where you can spend a lovely evening reminiscing, accompanied by good wine and delicious food. And if you've never been, I'd say the cool weather this summer will make up for it. ”

“ Everything was excellent. The appetizers were delicious and delicious. The polenta cacio e pepe deserves a special mention: it was delicious and delicate. The wine was excellent. The tagliata al pepe verde was very good. The appetizers, wine, and tagliata totaled €25. ”

“ Andrea's birthday... family atmosphere, excellent service, excellent food quality and just the right amount. An evening with my kids, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thanks to my friend Giuliano, a friend of many cycling battles... and congratulations to all the staff. ”

- Alessandro Grassi -

“ The people in this place are really nice and friendly, just like everyone in Buti. This nice little restaurant features excellent Tuscan dishes, local wine and truly local people. A must if you want to eat authentic food in Buti. We had a very nice selection of appetizers followed by a excellent tagliata. Topped of with dolce, grappa and coffee. It was an unforgettable evening. If you want to stay the night I highly recommend the B&B San Francesco right next door. ”

“ Great Tuscan restaurant! We had dinner with a mixed Tuscan antipasto platter of polenta, cured meats, and cheeses: very good. We then ordered two first courses and two desserts, both delicious. The location is very informal but welcoming, and the staff is friendly. Excellent value. The only downside is that there are no gluten-free options on the menu. ”

“ Very family atmosphered, open, warm, not chique but very good for some great local food, wine and fun! Tagliata is super nice, green pepper and rosemary but also the one with parmesan and rucolla. Definitely a must if you want to dine like a local! ”

“ Dined at this place twice during our visit and absolutely loved it. The food was authentic, only locals dined here and the couple that served was truly adorable. Our dog was welcome here as well and got lots of treats. Would love to try few more meals, but pretty sure that we will be back. ”

“ Love this place. We discovered it last year and made a point to come back. Everything is in Italian so don't rely on using English to order. They give you a delicious cheesey polenta with your meal at dinner. ”
